It is also worth making a detour to the pile dwellings in Uhldingen directly after the crossing, which are located within an impressive open-air museum (+ 10 km). Take time to visit the town of Meersburg with its imposing castle and medieval town centre. Those who climb the path to the freshly renovated Fürstenhäusle of Annette von Droste-Hülshoff will be rewarded with a uniquely wide view over the vineyard and Lake Constance. The route then continues along the lake via Immenstaad to Friedrichshafen. The customs office building in the middle of the park and the baroque castle church are among the town's landmarks.
