General information about our Cycling & Hotel Tours 

Individual cycling vacations with luggage transport from hotel to hotel.
A cycling vacation with pre-booked hotels and luggage transport offers you a carefree vacation. You decide how much time to spend on the bike, in the cities and on the route.

You undertake the cycling routes at your own pace, alone, in pairs, with friends or with the family. Organized luggage transport, pre-booked hotels and detailed route descriptions ensure that you can enjoy the cycling routes optimally and carefree.

Tours

You will cycle from hotel to hotel along various cycling routes. The routes are calculated so that there is enough time to stop and visit places of interest. At the end of your cycling route you will arrive back at the starting point, this is practical if you came by car.

One-Way Travel

The bicycle route ends at a different place than the route begins. This is a varied cycling vacation that combines different regions. Because you do not cycle back to the starting point, you do not cover more miles but cycle through different landscapes. If you come by car and prefer to use your own bike, you will get all the information for the return trip.
Some routes also allow you to book the return transfer of your own bikes.
A classic among these One-Way trips is the route from Amsterdam to Bruges, which you can book with ship as a bike-hotel trip.

Star trips

From a beautifully located hotel you can start several day trips. Optimal for anyone who might also want to get away for a day and/or take advantage of cultural offers.

What does the day look like? 

After a hearty cycling breakfast, you will drop off your luggage at the reception. Then your cycling tour begins with only the light luggage for the day. The rest of your luggage will be taken to the next hotel by noon. Most bike tours can also be taken with your own bikes if you wish secure parking spaces at the hotels are included. 

Target audience

Because you can cycle at your own pace, this vacation is suitable for anyone with a normal level of condition. You can also rent an E-bike with each bike tour and often choose between a short and a long route. 

Level and route

Most of our routes have a level between 1 and 2 ( on a scale of 1-5 ). This means that the bicycle routes are mostly on asphalt roads and are without major climbs. For each bike route you will receive a detailed route description. Most of the bicycle routes are on signposted routes and long distance paths. 

Rental bikes

Rental bikes generally have 24-speed, derailleur gears and hand brakes. For some cycling tours, rental bikes with coaster brakes are available upon request.
You will receive your rental bike cleaned and serviced. You will return the rental bike the evening before your departure. We recommend that you bring your own repair kit for the road. You can do small repairs yourself or go to one of the many bike stores. During this tour you are responsible for theft or damage. We recommend that you check with your insurance company to see if you are covered for theft and damage. Fortunately, bicycle thefts are rare outside the major cities.

Extra night

Many of our trips allow you to book an extra night, with the destination of your choice.

Return transfer to the starting point of the tours

On many of our trips, a return transfer to the starting point is included in the price.
Sometimes this is also offered as an additional option. Generally there is always the possibility to park your car at the starting hotel.

This is wat we offer you during a cycle and hotel tour

You will stay in good classified hotels and inns along the cycling route. All rooms have a private shower/toilet or bathtub/toilet. With many cycling vacations you can choose from different hotel categories.

Meals

The standard tour package includes overnight accommodation with breakfast. You can also extend you tour with half board for an additional charge. Under the dates, prices & booking tab you will find the corresponding information and prices for half board, for the respective vacation. 

Luggage transport

Transportation of your luggage will be provided. Your luggage will be collected from the hotel at approximately 9:00 am and will be taken to next hotel by 5:00 pm. 

Directions

Upon arrival, or in advance by mail, you will receive directions to the bike routes you have booked. This goes along with information about the sights and details of the route. This way you will be aware of interesting sights along the way. 

GPS / App-supported navigation

Certain apps allow you to download routes to your cell phone. If you location/GPS signal is enabled on your phone, your current location and the route will be displayed. You will receive the GPS tracks by email as a gpx file for the route. 

Emergency Number

The emergency number is available 24/7 to help you with problems as quickly as possible. The emergency number can be found on your travel documents.
